New music teaser…
Even though I’m fairly early in the writing stage for this album, I’m really excited about where it’s heading. Up until now I’ve only written vocals and acoustic guitar. With this new album I’m learning to write bass, synth and percussion. Learning to compose these additional musical elements has really changed the way I look at writing vocals and guitar, thus broadening the sonic scope and leading me into a new and exciting musical direction.
As I experiment, learn, explore, I’ve been eager to share some of it with you. Below is a snippet of a song that began sprouting up yesterday. I make no guarantees for the tightness of the instrumentation or the mix, but I’m digging the feel of it so far. No vocals yet.
